What is a registered psychometrist?

Psychometrists are psychological practitioners that follow the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) guidelines and specialize in the use of psychological assessments. According to the HPCSA, a Psychometrist's mission is to make psychological assessments accessible in order to enhance the psychological well-being of South Africa's varied population.

Psychometrists have the responsibility to:
